Steve Fredlund

Founder of The Safari Way

Helping people and organizations embrace uncertainty, experience the extraordinary, and navigate the adventure of life, work, and leadership.

I DIDN’T SET OUT  TO CREATE THE SAFARI WAY…

For more than three decades, I pursued success the way many of us were taught to. I built a successful corporate career, earned professional credentials, led teams, and checked all the boxes that were supposed to lead to fulfillment.

And yet I found myself asking a question I couldn’t ignore:
Is this really the way life is meant to feel?

That question changed everything.

It led me to discover that life isn’t a formula to solve.
It’s an adventure to embrace.

That realization became the foundation of The Safari Way and continues to shape everything I teach today.

Why Organizations Invite Steve

Organizations don’t bring Steve in simply because he tells great stories.

They invite him because audiences leave with a fresh perspective, practical ideas they can immediately apply, and a renewed sense of possibility for the adventure ahead.

Whether speaking to hundreds of conference attendees or facilitating conversations with leadership teams, Steve creates experiences that continue long after the event ends.

Beyond the Stage

When Steve isn’t speaking, you’ll likely find him exploring another corner of the world, playing poker with friends, cheering on Minnesota sports, spending time with family, or planning his next African adventure.

Those experiences don’t just inspire his stories.

They continue shaping The Safari Way.
